Work
In 2009 I started Arroyo Seco Films focusing on creating media projects that are intelligent, entertaining and memorable.

My first feature documentary, in association with Whalen Films, is "Gringos at the Gate - Soccer and the US Mexico Divide" which is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2011. You can find out more about the film at www.arroyosecofilms.com or www.gringosatthegate.com

With no budget or crew, I finished a short documentary on mandatory desegregation entitled "John Muir High Class of 1981 - The Children of Desegregation". It was made for and screened at the Classes 30th reunion in July. See it HERE.

Past work includes a stint as Production Coordinator on Cedar Grove Productions' ACADEMY AWARD winning short film “VISAS AND VIRTUE” and Co-Producer on their second award-winning and EMMY nominated short film, “DAY OF INDEPENDENCE”. I've worked on film and television projects at Mess Media, UBU, CBS, NHK Japan and many others.

Independently, I have produced, written and directed several video shorts, educational shorts and on-line interactive marketing materials for such clients as AIG Insurance, Dhamma Chakkra Association, Zenalta and Intomotion.

In the summer of 2006 I traveled to Germany and produced several short features on the World Cup for local Los Angeles television.

A graduate of the UCLA MFA Film Program, I won both the UCLA "Spotlight" and MPAA Student Filmmaker awards for my short film “THE HAMMER” and my thesis work, “POSESIÓN”, won Best Short Subject award at the Charlestown International Film Festival.
